Short version: We collect what we need to run Nudge. We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. Ever.
1. Who We Are
Nudge is operated by TLK Intelligence Pty Ltd (ABN 16 525 180 164), Sydney, Australia. We are the data controller for information collected through wenudge.net. Contact us at hello@wenudge.net.

3. What We Don't Collect
- We never store credit card numbers — Stripe handles all payments
- We don't track you across other websites
- We don't use advertising cookies or pixels
- We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing
4. AI Conversations
When a visitor chats with Alex on your page, that conversation is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing. We store the visitor's email address if they provide it (for lead capture) and a message count for rate limiting. We do not permanently store full conversation transcripts.
If you are a visitor chatting with someone's Alex: your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI and your email may be shared with the page owner if you provide it.
5. Third-Party Services
We use these third-party services to operate Nudge:
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, database storage (wenudge.net runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1)
- Stripe — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Anthropic — AI responses via Claude API. Their privacy policy applies to conversation content.
- Google — optional Google login via OAuth. Their privacy policy applies if you use Google login.
6. Your Public Page
Your Nudge page at wenudge.net/yourhandle is public by default. Anyone can visit it. The information you put on your page — name, bio, links, photo — is visible to the world. You can make your page private from the dashboard settings at any time.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data (leads, analytics) from the dashboard
- Object to processing where we rely on legitimate interests
To exercise these rights email hello@wenudge.net. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, primarily in data centres in the United States and Europe. Cloudflare is certified under applicable data protection frameworks.
We protect your data using encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, JWT authentication, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised please contact us immediately.
9. Cookies
We use one cookie: nudge_token — a session cookie for keeping you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we only use strictly necessary cookies.
10. Children
Nudge is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
11. Australian Privacy Law
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, contact us first at hello@wenudge.net. If we cannot resolve it you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
12. GDPR (European Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is contract performance (to provide the Service) and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention). You have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. For material changes we will notify you by email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
